British Airways came last for its First Class and Business Class cabin, with a 67% satisfaction rating and passengers criticising poor food and low-grade inflight entertainment.

A Which? Magazine report on airlines offering the best premium services from the UK named Cathay Pacific as offering the best business or first-class services, with an overall satisfaction rating of 90%.

Second was Emirates with 88%. It was praised for, among other aspects, its minibar, a shower for first-class passengers and 86in legroom.

Almost 2,000 Which? members were surveyed as part of the annual airline study on their experiences of flying Premium Economy, Business Class or First Class from the UK. 

The Premium Economy rankings placed Singapore Airlines first, followed by Virgin Atlantic.

BA responded to the survey, telling The Times, “Since this survey in 2018, we've been investing £6.5 billion (US$7.81bn) in aircraft, cabins, dining experiences and luxury lounges, and by 2020 we will have had 100 new aircraft in less than a decade.”
