KUALA LUMPUR - The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has cancelled its 63rd Assembly of Presidents, due to be held in Hong Kong November 21-22.
In a statement, AAPA said the decision had been taken “after careful deliberation together with the host airline Cathay Pacific Airways”.
“This was a difficult decision, given our commitment to organise this important industry event, but reflects the unpredictability of the situation in Hong Kong,” the statement added.
AAPA said it deeply regretted “the inconvenience and disappointment caused by this change of plans”.
