To celebrate the arrival in Singapore of the famous document which was sealed by King John in 1215, British Airways is offering its customers in Singapore special fares to London from just S$1,215 in World Traveller economy class.

At 800 years old, the Magna Carta, Britain’s most celebrated charter, may well be the oldest passenger British Airways has ever carried. The esteemed historical document is part-way through its anniversary world tour and was on display to the public in Singapore from 19 until 23 November 2015.

To celebrate the arrival in Singapore of the famous document which was sealed by King John in 1215, British Airways is offering its customers in Singapore special fares to London from just S$1,215 in World Traveller economy class.

The special return fares are available for booking from now until 3 December 2015. The fares are valid for departure from Singapore between 24 November 2015 - 9 December 2015, and 18 January 2016 – 31 March 2016.

On loan from Hereford Cathedral, British Airways is partnering with GREAT Britain to transport the document over 65,000 miles through 25 time zones to showcase it to members of the public around the world. Singapore is one of only nine cities to host the Magna Carta’s 800th anniversary world tour.

The 1217 copy of the ancient and internationally celebrated legal text will be on display to the public in a free exhibition at the Supreme Court building at an exhibition entitled ‘800 Years of Magna Carta’. It will return to London with British Airways before visiting Malta and Portugal.
