Athens connection for China’s Belt&Road strategy

The airline said the connection with Athens further grows China’s Belt&Road initiative connecting China with Europe.

Air China will launch a new non-stop, twice-a-week service between Beijing and Athens using Airbus 330-200 aircraft.

Journey time between Beijing and Athens will be 10.5 hours. 

The new Beijing-Athens two-class service will bring the total number of routes between China and Europe to 26, with an offering of 300 flights per week to 19 major European destinations, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Rome, Moscow, Barcelona and Madrid, all serviced by wide-body aircraft.
