Enhancements to a dual loyalty scheme by Air France-KLM Group and Accor Group will now enable travellers to earn points simultaneously across both programmes.
The improved rewards scheme will be rolled out to both companies’ customer loyalty base worldwide. Members must link both their accounts in order to benefit.
Each time travellers take flights operated or marketed by Air France or KLM, or stay at an Accor property, they will accumulate points in both Flying Blue Miles and Le Club AccorHotels Rewards programmes.
On top of regular miles and points for each flight or hotel booking, travellers will accrue an addition 0.5 points per euro spent on flights and one mile with each euro spent on hotels.
“Adding more options to earn and redeem Flying Blue Miles was a key driver for the development of Miles+Points, and we are glad we could develop this together with our partner Accor, for the benefit of our joint customers,” said Benjamin Smith, CEO Air France-KLM.
Sebastien Bazin, chairman and CEO of Accor remarked that the enhanced partnership “brings together two formidable players in global tourism and rewrites the rules of loyalty building”.
“The radical transformation of Accor’s lifestyle loyalty programme, embodied by the future brand ALL – Accor Live Limitless – will bring to life our “augmented hospitality” strategy and extend beyond mere hospitality and into the day-to-day lives of its members,” Bazin added.
