SEPANG – With a vision to develop its Kuching hub in East Malaysia, AirAsia is on track to place Kuching on the global spotlight by enhancing Kuching’s international connectivity to become a global low cost hub.
Already serving three international routes to Macau, Bali and Jakarta, the airline takes a step further by increasing its Kuching-Macau route service to daily flights, starting May 15, 2008. The route will be serviced by the airline’s new 180-seater Airbus A320 aircraft.
AirAsia is the only airline to serve the international route to Macau from the hub, a service that was introduced on November 15, 2007. The LCC is currently serving three flights weekly to Macau.
