KUALA LUMPUR – AirAsia expands its network in Indonesia with the introduction of a daily direct service from here to Bali on August 5 and Medan on August 27

One way fare on the Kuala Lumpur-Bali service is from RM99.99 (US$26.31) and on the Kuala Lumpur-Medan service from RM79.99.

AirAsia group chief executive officer, Tony Fernandes, said the low fares to these two Indonesian destinations would enable holiday makers in Indonesia to extend their holiday and come to Malaysia, “similar to how we have encouraged an influx of travelers from Phuket and Bangkok to take advantage of our low fare flights to Kuala Lumpur and extend their holiday in Malaysia.”

Meanwhile a second daily flight connecting Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta will be introduced August 27, following the successful launch of the airline’s direct Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta flight on July 2.
