MANILA - Air France is optimistic its non-stop flights between Manila and Paris will contribute to growing inbound tourism from France.

Air France currently flies non-stop between the two points four times a week, up by one flight since the service was inaugurated a year ago.

Its general manager-Philippines Louis Vergeon said he had started initiating talks with Philippine and French government offices to formally push for programmes to grow the traffic.

Vergeon made the comments yesterday during a press conference to launch Air France's "Filipinized" services onboard.
