MANILA - Abacus is batting to provide at least 100 Philippine travel agents with e-ticketing features by end of March, according to marketing manager Nina Cerrada.
At present, some 15 agents are e-ticketing for Singapore Airlines and 10 for Cathay Pacific. She said they are expecting four more airlines to sign up by the end of the month.
Abacus introduced e-ticketing to the Philippines at the end of February. The focal selling point is the conveniences it provides to the airlines, travel agents and passengers. With an e-ticket, the passenger no longer has to worry about loss or theft.
