MELBOURNE - Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has announced an extended and enhanced educational programme for AIME (Asia/Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) 2003, including a new, purpose built AIME Theatre on the exhibition floor.

AIME will be held on 18-19 February at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia.

The AIME Educational Programme includes two major industry forums from 8.30 am-9.45 am each day in the Auditorium, plus five other industry seminars and workshops held throughout each day in the AIME Theatre.

"Education is key to maintaining and improving your business skills and AIME 2003 will now provide a range of seminars covering the important issues in our industries," said David Crooke, AIME exhibition director.

AIME will also run an expanded Youth Forum programme next year.

The ICCA Youth Forum will run over three days, from February 16 to 18, offering young staff of ICCA members around the Asia Pacific region a unique opportunity to hear updates from senior industry members, discuss issues, and forge valuable contacts.

The Forum is designed to educate and inspire young people currently working in the industry: to give them a broader understanding of the international meetings industry; to encourage them to develop skills in their key areas; and to deepen their commitment to a career in this sector.

The programme will be a mix of educational sessions, facility tours, networking events and attendance at the AIME 2003.

To qualify for attendance, the person must be currently working in the meetings industry and under 30 years of age. Applications from a non-ICCA members will also be considered.
