11 November 2002MELBOURNE - Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has announced
an extended and enhanced educational programme for AIME
(Asia/Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo) 2003, including
a new, purpose built AIME Theatre on the exhibition
floor.
AIME will be held on 18-19 February at the Melbourne
Exhibition Centre, Australia.
The AIME Educational Programme includes two major
industry forums from 8.30 am-9.45 am each day in the
Auditorium, plus five other industry seminars and workshops
held throughout each day in the AIME Theatre.
"Education is key to maintaining and improving your
business skills and AIME 2003 will now provide a range of
seminars covering the important issues in our industries,"
said David Crooke, AIME exhibition director.
AIME will also run an expanded Youth Forum programme
next year.
The ICCA Youth Forum will run over three days, from
February 16 to 18, offering young staff of ICCA members
around the Asia Pacific region a unique opportunity to hear
updates from senior industry members, discuss issues, and
forge valuable contacts.
The Forum is designed to educate and inspire young
people currently working in the industry: to give them a
broader understanding of the international meetings
industry; to encourage them to develop skills in their key
areas; and to deepen their commitment to a career in this
sector.
The programme will be a mix of educational sessions,
facility tours, networking events and attendance at the
AIME 2003.
To qualify for attendance, the person must be currently
working in the meetings industry and under 30 years of age.
Applications from a non-ICCA members will also be
considered.
