SINGAPORE - The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is launching its first series of educational events in China in conjunction with the Asia Business Travel Market in Shanghai September.

ACTE said it would use ABTM to introduce China's corporate community to the principles and practices of business travel management.

Sim Beng Khoon, ACTE's education representative for Asia-Pacific said, "What ACTE brings is an entire global cache of information on business travel management and an ability to demonstrate how it can work in local conditions.

"It is vital knowledge for companies operating in any country where domestic and international business travel volumes are expanding."

Sim, who's also Alliante Inc's senior global travel manager, will be one of the workshop session speakers.

ABTM, the exhibition cum conference targeting the business travel segment in China, will be held from September 3-5 at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai.
