AAPA safety summit in Bangkok

KUALA LUMPUR - The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) and Boeing will co-sponsor a flight safety seminar at Sofitel Central Plaza, Bangkok next week, from September 4 to 5.

The seminar will be hosted by Thai Airways while the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have made significant contributions towards the organisation of the seminar.

The seminar will feature presentations from Boeing, IATA, FSF, International Federation of Airline Pilots Association (IFALPA), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Approximately 150 people are expected to attend the seminar, representing all 18 AAPA member airlines, regulatory agencies from the region, several pilots associations and most regional airlines operating in South-east Asia.
