1,200 participants for Fiabci World Congress

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci) is confident of achieving its target of 1,200 international delegates for the 53rd Fiabci World Congress 2002 to be held here from 26 to 31 May.

Malaysia is hosting the congress for the first time.

According to Fiabci Malaysia president, Kumar Tharmalingam, Americans used to make up the largest contingent. However for this year's event, there are more Japanese, Taiwanese, South Koreans and other Asian participants.
