Ansonborough Inn travel42 Professional Hotel Review
Location and History
Three blocks from Port of Charleston pier, at the end of charming Hassel Street, on the less charming corner of busy (noisy) Washington Street, this is a tightly run, midrange ship, loft-inspired, with an enviable location just two blocks from the market area.
It occupies a three-story former paper warehouse dating from the late 19th century and has a bevy of catching and affordable brick-and-beam accommodations that will appeal to frugal romantics.
