Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have joined forces to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Studio with a captivating collaboration. The global centennial campaign, "Celebrating Every Story," has chosen Singapore as a prime destination to commemorate the milestone.

WB100 celebrating every story

From 10 to 26 November 2023, Sentosa will host the "WB100 Celebrating Every Story" event, offering an immersive experience for fans of all ages.

This tribute to 100 years of Warner Bros. franchises, including DC's Batman, Aquaman, Wizarding World, and Looney Tunes, showcases the studio's enduring impact on global entertainment.

Singapore-inspired Tom and Jerry series

Adding a local twist to the celebration, a new Tom and Jerry series will premiere. This seven-part production marks the franchise's first localised adaptation, drawing inspiration from Singapore's landmarks and culture.

The series debuted with an episode featuring the comedic encounter with durian, a regional delicacy, and will roll out globally after its Asia-Pacific launch.

The Singapore-inspired Tom and Jerry series stems from a multi-year partnership established between WBD and STB in 2022. This collaboration spans entertainment, lifestyle content, and strategic marketing efforts, promoting Singapore as a captivating travel destination.

Previous successes include the "Food Affair with Mark Wiens" series and premieres of shows like "The Batman" and "Westworld Season 3."

Shared enthusiasm for the partnership

Melissa Ow, chief executive of STB, highlighted the series and the WB100 festival as vibrant platforms to showcase Singapore's appeal in creative ways. Clement Schwebig, WBD's president and managing director for India, Southeast Asia, and Korea, emphasised the partnership's celebration of Warner Bros.' legacy while providing engaging experiences for families and visitors.

As Warner Bros. Studio commemorates its 100th anniversary, the collaboration between WBD and STB underscores the universal influence of storytelling and entertainment on global tourism. Beyond celebrating a century of entertainment, this partnership embodies the timeless magic that Warner Bros. characters bring to audiences worldwide.
