The action at next month’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar won’t be confined to the football stadiums.
Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism have lined up a series of high-adrenalin events to keep the excitement flowing throughout the tournament.
Headlining the event calendar is Qatar Live which will host more than 100 international artists throughout the World Cup with performances from Enrique Iglesias, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Post Malone, J Balvin and Robbie Williams.
Fans will be making a beeline for beach clubs, fan zones, theme parks and the Daydream festival, which promises the biggest DJ line up seen in the Middle East.
Additionally, the airline and its partners will schedule family musical performances including The Enchanted Prince, and Pinocchio, and the Lusail Winter Wonderland theme park located on Al Maha Island, in the heart of Qatar's entertainment district.
Lusail Winter Wonderland will feature more than 50 rides and attractions including the Qatar Airways Forest Train inside the Qatar Airways Festive Forrest, the Flume ride Arctic Splash, a giant Ice Slide, The Galleon, the Ooredoo 5G Rollercoaster, and the Ain QNB, a 150 ft Ferris Wheel.
In anticipation of large numbers of passengers flying out of Qatar after the World Cup, Qatar Airways will be providing dedicated passenger overflow spaces outside of Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport, with live entertainment at no cost.
