SINGAPORE – From mid-November, travellers will be able to gain a deeper appreciation for Singapore’s first heritage town, Katong Joo Chiat.
As part of a Singapore Tourism Board initiative to celebrate local arts and heritage in the island-state, Colorinc Pte Ltd will be launching several art-related activities in the precinct beginning Nov 16.
On a neighbourhood stroll, visitors (and locals alike) will be able to admire new wall murals that showcase the precinct’s history from extinct turtles to little children playing in floods as well as architecture that is distinctive to this area in Singapore.
There will also be art workshops and offers from participating restaurants, cafes and retail shops. More details can be found here.
