Citygate Outlets relaunches with 50 new store brands and a celebratory scent station.

HONG KONG - A shopping favourite for travellers before they leave Hong Kong, Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung, close to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), has relaunched and doubled in size.

The 800,000sqft mall is home to 150 international brands, 50 of which are new to the mall, and can feature up to 90% discounts, year-round.

The premium brands include Versace and Ermenegildo Zegna, as well as high street brands like GAP. New brands include Breitling, Ted Baker and Theory.

The mall experience is complemented by 30 F&B outlets giving shoppers tasty breaks from the retail therapy.

To mark the relaunch, the mall has collaborated with local scent artist and certified aromatherapist Angel Cheung to showcase Lantau Island-influenced scents at the Atrium’s scent station between September 17 and October 16.

Shoppers can stop by and experience nine scents, from three categories. For example, “Blooming” includes a scent named “A leisurely picnic in the park”, “Spicy” offers “Dancing by the fire at a campsite BBQ” and the “Pure” category suggests “Happy childhood memories at a Tai O grocery stall”.

Experience all nine of the scents and shoppers receive a gift from The Body Shop.

During the same period, shoppers who spend designated amounts via electronic payments can be eligible for rewards from Moleskine, Chevignon and Shiseido, while workshops will be on offer, including how to make dim sum, beer tasting, decoration making and creating your own luggage tag.
