Introduction and History

This is Carnival's fifth ship within the Conquest class, which entered service in 2007. At 110,000 gross register tons, Carnival Freedom is one of the largest ships in the fleet, comprising 14 decks for 2,980 passengers at double occupancy, with a total guest capacity of 3,754 when third and fourth berths are occupied. The ship is registered in Panama and incorporates an international crew with Italian officers.
