Introduction and History

Built in Finland in 1998, the Carnival Elation is registered in Panama and is a toned-down version of Carnival's Fantasy-class super liners.

With a distinctive red-white-and-blue, winged stack, this 71,909-ton ship, cruising at 22 knots, extends 855 feet with a 103-feet beam. It has Italian and Croatian officers and an international crew of 980. At capacity, it carries up to 2,594 passengers (or 2,130 with double occupancy).
