Oceania Cruises will explore the Mediterranean extensively during a new Grand Voyage itinerary for 2023.
The Mediterranean Connection sailing on Marina will embark on a
33-day journey from Venice to Barcelona, taking in the highlights of the
Eastern Mediterranean and Holy Lands.
Departing on 11 October 2023, Oceania’s Grand Voyage will call on 28
ports, not repeating one throughout the journey, and will offer three
shorter 12-day options.
Howard Sherman, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises, said the Grand
Voyage was in response to demand for longer and more
destination-immersive voyages.
Also coming up in 2023, Oceania will debut a series of rum and whisky
programmes across its fleet. The experiences will feature an extensive
collection of The Macallan's iconic expressions via The Macallan Diamond
Bar Cart, a flight programme and chocolate pairings.
Brugal 1888 Doblemente Añejado Rum will be featured in a new Tea at
Sea mixology class and a wide selection of newly crafted ice cream
cocktails.
"These new rum and whisky programmes come on the heels of the
recently announced elevated bar programme aboard Vista, debuting May 20,
2023," said Daniela Oancea, corporate beverage manager of Oceania
Cruises.
"Across the fleet we have been working on a number of innovative concepts tapping into current mixology trends.”
