Options include “Fur-st Class Dining” as owner and pet sail around
Resorts World Sentosa, enjoying a two-course meal by PetCubes during
breakfast buffets and sunset dinners.
For those who do not own a dog, a pet companion package lets them rent a pup for the experience.
After detailed consultations with leading cat experts and authorities
including vets, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, The
Cat People, and Cat Welfare Society, the Royal Albatross recently launched a Cat Cruise.
Sylvia Lee, Tall Ship Adventures partnerships sales manager, said,
“We've had one public cat cruise, and all the cats appeared calm and
composed. They seemed to relish the air-conditioned grand salon and
enjoyed the sunset and sea breeze from the upper deck.
“We've been offering dog cruises
for two years, and we frequently receive queries about why there aren't
any cruises for cats. Many of our dog-loving customers also own cats,
indicating a potential market demand.”
