Silversea Cruises has committed to Singapore as a major hub for the Asia Pacific region and will work alongside the Singapore Tourism Board to develop cruising into and from the destination.

“Silversea’s well-travelled and highly affluent clientele appreciates the finest things in life and Singapore can offer just that, by providing high-end tourism infrastructure, as well as highly sought-after cultural experiences ranging from world-class shopping districts to vibrant neighbourhoods and culinary delights,” said Silversea’s managing director for the Asia Pacific, Adam Radwanski.

According to the ultra-luxury cruise line, Singapore is an ideal city for this commitment thanks to its strategic location in Southeast Asia, coupled with excellent air connectivity, world-class port infrastructure, an innovation-focused economy and the city's ambition to be a sustainable travel destination.

"With destinations such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand opening their ports once more for international cruising, our excitement is growing for the moment in which we can welcome our guests in Asia,” vice president of sales for the Asia Pacific, Simon Yip said.

Singapore will feature in Silversea's record 21 sailings for the 2024/2025 season, which will see the destination welcoming the cruise line's upcoming new ships Silver Nova—set to become the world’s first low-emissions cruise ship using hybrid technology—as well as the state-of-the-art Silver Dawn, among others.

The 2024/2025 Singapore deployment is a part of a broader worldwide launch of itineraries that will see the largest-ever number of voyages offered by Silversea, with 341 sailings between March 2024 and May 2025 spanning all seven continents, in 120 countries and unlocking 695 destinations.
