Royal Caribbean International is putting Asia front and centre of its Spectrum of the Seas 2023-2024 year-round programme, while at the same time responding to demand for longer cruises.

In a further sign that demand for cruising is surging back, the first of Royal Caribbean’s Quantum class ships, Spectrum of the Seas, will offer mix of new 5- to 12-night cruises to sought-after destinations, including Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Those with time only for a quick adventure, will have the chance to experience Spectrum of the Seas’ favourite 3- and 4-night getaways, first introduced in July, to popular ports, including Penang and Phuket.

The upcoming cruises include two 12-night sailings, allowing guests to visit as many as seven destinations across three countries in one trip.

These sailings can also be enjoyed back-to-back, visiting a new destination almost every day for the entire 24-night adventure. Included are 10 destinations unique to this experience, such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka and Mount Fuji; and Nha Trang and Hue/Danang in Vietnam.

Angie Stephen, vice president and managing director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean International, said after experiencing Royal Caribbean’s first year-round season in Singapore, travellers were returning for more.

“Being able to visit international shores again has only increased that demand.”

Stephen said holidaymakers wanted a fun and fuss-free vacation “and Spectrum of the Seas delivers exactly that”.

Next season’s year-round adventures on Asia’s largest and most innovative ship are now open to book.
