The cruise line has partnered with fitness platform ClassPass to offer cruise passengers a chance to try a variety of fitness classes, from high intensity interval training (HIIT) and boxing lessons to yoga and Latino jam classes. The Fitness Takeover themed cruise will be setting sail from April 7 to 10.

From the streets of Hong Kong to a fitness “takeover”, Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream will be transforming its onboard experience with new upcoming themed cruises and enrichment programmes under its Dreamer Series offerings.

“The Fitness Takeover will cater to guests of all ages and abilities - from fitness fanatics to general health and wellbeing enthusiasts seeking inspiration, as well as people who want to try something new while travelling. We’re seeing increasing demand for holistic health and wellness options in Singapore, so fitness was an obvious choice for our first cruise in the Dreamer Series,” commented Michael Goh, senior vice president - International Sales, Genting Cruise Lines.

The cruise line will also be bringing the vibrancy of Hong Kong on board with a culinary-themed sailing that promises an all-Hong Kong experience.

The ship’s various locations will be transformed into iconic Hong Kong scenes, such as its food bazaars and parties, with culinary hands-on workshops.

Guests can expect to tuck into the best of Hong Kong’s street food, test out their dance moves Canton-style, and try their hand at Chinese flour doll-making and candy art workshops conducted by Mr Candy Art, a traditional candy artist.

Hong Kong actor and singer Kevin Cheng will be the star on board an exclusive five-night voyage to Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City from April 14 to 19. Guests will be able to catch a live 60-minute performance by the celebrity.

Music lovers can also look forward to a two-hour live singing talent competition hosted by Wendy Zheng with Marcus Chin, Cui Xia and Fang Zhong Hua as judges. The voyage will be sailing to Surabaya in North Bali from May 12 to 17.

Finally, foodies can look forward to a culinary-themed cruise hosted by popular food columnist Ah Lun, with experiences such as a cooking demonstration, an omakase dinner and meet-and-greet opportunities with Ah Lun himself.

Meanwhile, the cruise line is also gearing up for the launch of its third and newest ship, Explorer Dream, to set sail in April. The 1,870-passenger ship will be homeported in Sydney and Auckland during the Autumn/Winter 2019 season. Sailing outside Asian waters for the first time, the ship will embark on 21 seven-night weekly itineraries to destinations such as Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Napier, Newcastle, Sydney and Wellington.

World Dream will be incorporating fly-cruise opportunities to unique destinations in Asia such as a five-night cruise to Okinawa and Vietnam.
