Casino machines. Pallets of playing cards. Artwork. Those items and
others from Crystal Cruises ships will go to auction in May, according
to court filings.
Other items up for auction also include more than 70 chairs, more
than two dozen assorted end tables of various sizes, computer monitors
and accessories, promotional gift items and miscellaneous items.
The items are the first to go to auction as Crystal's assets are
liquidated following the collapse of the cruise line and parent company,
Genting Hong Kong. Tens of thousands of claims have been filed by
customers, agents, vendors and others.
Details have yet to be released on when Crystal's ships will go to auction.
The auction for casino equipment and artwork will open online in early May once a catalog of the items is posted at MoeckerAuctions.com. The items will be available for bid at Proxibid.com.
The items will be available for inspection on 23 May in Pompano Beach, Florida by appointment only. Sales will close on 24 May.
