Cruise World China rides crest of a wave

Travel Weekly China has successfully launched CruiseWorld China bringing hundreds of travel agents and cruise industry leaders together for a day filled with insight and networking.

"We are thrilled with the success of CruiseWorld China," said Bob Sullivan, president, Travel Group, Northstar Travel Media. “Hundreds of travel agents and influencers heard from the top leadership of the four largest cruise lines in the world, as well as other key experts from across the Chinese travel industry.”

“It was wonderful to see so many agents and suppliers at the event,” said Alicia Evanko-Lewis, senior vice president of events, Travel Group, Northstar Travel Media. “This was a valuable opportunity for the travel community in China to connect and learn.”

Speakers at the event included Arnold Donald, CEO of Carnival Corporation, Frank Del Rio, CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises and Dr. Zinan Liu, president of China and North Asia Pacific Region for Royal Caribbean International.

“It was an honour to have so many high level industry executives at our event,” said Susan Li, editor, Travel Weekly China. “They recognise the importance of the travel agent community in China and dedicated their time to share their viewpoint on today’s trends and issues.”
