The Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa, which opened along Thailand’s eastern gulf coast last September, has unveiled a new programme aimed at creating unconventional meetings and events experiences for corporate travellers through local-themed programme offerings.
Located along the Na Jomtien beach district, the 257-key beachfront resort hopes to draw corporate travellers with its latest programme offerings, which will feature Thailand’s ‘rich, local experiences’ through showcases ranging from music, the arts, mixology, gastronomy and more.
Groups will be able to tap into the local theme when planning for private events and experiences with the resort’s partnerships with local musicians, mixologists and artists.
The ‘experiential’ element for meetings can also be turned up through interactive table settings.
Local touches can also be incorporated through culinary offerings served at meetings and events. A guidebook offering tips on Pattaya’s hidden gems and hand-picked local spots will also be on offer.
The resort has indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate up to 500 people. These include four meeting rooms across 1,038sqm and a flexible event hub space.
Delegates will also be able to take part in activities such as ‘tablescaping’, whereby delegates can play ‘Shell Chess’ or build their own mini sandcastle.
The local theme will feature across coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners and local musicians and entertainers will also be part of the programming lineup at the resort’s R Bar.
The resort also offers guests a number of flexible areas for dining such at the lobby, gardens and beach areas.
Recreational facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, a kids pool, kids club and a luxury spa.
